Are You Successful?

Are You Successful?

This morning I read an interesting post from a client on success. She talked about the fact that, whilst she didn’t consider herself to be a ‘mover and a shaker’, she was feeling great about the deep satisfaction she was getting from a steady stream of clients that she got to work with in her quiet way. I loved this post, whilst simultaneously being triggered by it. It also reminded me of a post from a mentor of mine about two statements Jim Carrey has said. One being about manifesting 10 million in five years through belief, visualisation and enough right action. And the second of him saying he wished everyone in the world could be blessed with all of the fame and fortune they desired, so each of us would realise that it is not money and fame that will ever make a person feel truly fulfilled. I sometimes forget that my mission, whether it comes to birth and business, is the same. What's Your Mission? This is to help women understand their own limitless potential and to provide them with the tools to help them turn their dreams into reality. I talk a lot about impact. My own desire is to have a massive impact and help a lot of people understand that they CAN have what they...

Do you become sheep far too easily?

Today I want to talk to you about some of the things that I learnt when I went to see Gary Vaynerchuk a couple of weeks ago.  I think last week I was talking about Denise Duffield-Thomas, and this week I'm talking about Gary Vaynerchuk.  I have been hammered a lot of information in person over the last couple of weeks, and it has been fantastic.  I think that when we get the opportunity to go to these types of events, it's very easy to talk about how busy you are, and how you shouldn't be taking time out of your day, but actually it's really refreshing to once again connect with people in real life and to witness people doing their stuff.  Even if you never have an aspiration to be standing up on stage and speaking in front of 750 people, watching someone who is able to hold the crowd and be incredibly engaging is very inspiring and provides everybody with a mini-masterclass on how it's done.  Watch my full vlog here. https://youtu.be/DbZVNeaZ1Yg So you take what you learn, you then put your own little spin on it, and then you take it out into the world.  It's exciting, when I do my talk in November for the Maternity Nests Association, I'm going to be taking all of the best bits...

Love Yourself Hard

I wanted to share with you two books that I have been reading that have been quite transformational for me.  Check out the vlog to know more: https://youtu.be/ZCNLm585n2Q The first is called Pussy: A Reclamation, but Regena Thomashauer.  She's also known as Mama Gena and she talks a lot about women's sensuality and sexuality.  This book is one that I was gifted earlier on in the year by an old mentor; I picked it up and started reading it, and I put it back down, and I picked it up, and I put it back down.  Two weeks ago, I started reading it again.  It's my bedtime read. Oh my god, everything just kind of clicked into place.  She talks a lot about the use of the word pussy, which you can quite easily substitute for intuition.  She is talking about the divine feminine and our ability to really celebrate ourselves and tune into the strength of our own intuitive power, through the pussy.  One of the things that I've really taken from this book is the need for me to do things that make me feel exquisite.  Whether that be really acknowledging and appreciating things I do already and reframing them, so for example, I really am more mindful that when I drink water and it's at room...
