How to create more time in your business…
…so that you can be more productive, and more successful
- Enough with the ‘not enough’ story
First things first, you need to flip the script on your time story. You have the same amount of hours in a day as me. You have the same amount of hours in a day as freaking Beyonce, okay? The sooner you realise this is about how you are managing that time, the sooner you’ll be able to create the shift.
- Call for backup
Don’t be afraid to ask for help. I can bet my bottom dollar there are things that you’re still doing daily, that you don’t particularly like doing, or you’re not particularly great at? Why? You need to decide where your energy is best placed – and all those other areas? That’s where you hire. Sometimes people are so hesitant to call in for support because they don’t feel ready, but trust me – building out your team will be one of the biggest catalysts in the success of your business.
- Charge more for your time
I know a lot of people have to work on their money stories, and on really releasing the judgment, shame and guilt that comes with charging more – for sure. So that might be part of it for you, but underneath everything, I want you to choose into the transformation that you are helping to facilitate.
How to create more time in your business…
Your rates reflect the level of confidence that you have in the transformation you get to help facilitate within your clients.
When you feel deeply, deeply confident, you can use that confidence to charge more money. And what can you do when you receive more money? You can employ help in the areas that you find are your weakest… so everything comes full circle here.
If you believe you are worthy, you will ask for more, meaning you’ll be able to hire a Virtual Assistant, or a Business Manager, or a Content Manager – which will in turn propel your business forward, increasing your income, your sense of confidence AND your productivity.
- Increase efficiency
And lastly, of course there are things you can do to make sure that when you are working, you’re using that time to the best of your ability. For me, having a diary is fundamental so I can keep on top of exactly what I need to be doing and when. I actually take 60 to 90 minutes every Sunday to plan out every single task I have to do the following week (including my 3 non negotiables, but right down to the details) in my Google calendar, and I find that to be SO powerful. As well as this, I find that deleting certain apps off my phone really helps to keep me focussed on the task at hand.
If you want to check out Episode 47 of The Limitless Life Experience Podcast, where I dig deep on this subject and offer advice on exactly how you can bring in recurring income and free up more time simultaneously – you can do that here.
And please let me know if you found this at all useful. I’d love to hear if this has sparked a change of behaviour for you. How will you be creating more spaciousness in your business? Give me a shout in the DMs.
All the love,
Suzy
