How to accept rejection…and thrive anyway!

Whenever people talk about rejection, whether that’s in the coaching space, or in any other field, they talk about the need to ‘get over it’.

Let me tell you something that I’ve learned – the hard way.

You never get over rejection.

It’s not something that ever goes away. There are ALWAYS going to be people who don’t want to invest in your products and services, and that is a-okay. It just means one of two things: they’re not ready to invest in themselves, or they’re not your dreamboat client. The people you are supposed to speak to will listen. And if your message is spot on, they will respond with the investment you’re asking for. It’s that simple.

So if rejection isn’t going to magically disappear, and you’re letting it stop you from stepping up in the highest vision that you have for yourself – then there’s work to be done, my loves.

I’m about to let you in on how you can learn to live with rejection and actually use it to thrive and propel you and your business forward.

All you have to do is remember that:

  • Rejection isn’t going anywhere

The first thing I want you to get clear on is what I stated above. The understanding that rejection will never go away. It is part of the deal, it is part of the package, it is part of the game we play when we make the commitment to running our businesses. The phrase ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’ is relevant here. Every rejection will put you further on the right path. There is absolutely nothing to feel bad about, nothing to worry about. Nothing at all. It’s about resilience. Once you realise that rejection isn’t something you can change or delete, you’ll have a much easier time dealing with it when it does arise, honey.

  • You can’t be everything to everyone

When somebody doesn’t get you, when someone’s not receiving you, when someone says no to you… it doesn’t matter. Read that again: it does not matter. You have to go through those nos in order to get to the people that you connect with. You’re not supposed to connect with everybody. Open yourself up to knowing that you can provide the best content, be the best coach, have the best idea and still… it won’t be for everyone. So that means that when rejection does come up, you should actually be grateful for it. It is getting you one step closer to your dreamboat client – the people who WILL pay for your knowledge, products and services.

  • The only person stopping you is you

Straight up: if you choose not to act for fear of not connecting with everybody, you are really rejecting YOURSELF, and your dreams, and the possibilities that are available for you. You are literally standing in your own way. When you choose to step beyond where feels comfortable, where feels safe, and where feels secure, you open up so much magic. Why would you stop yourself from experiencing a limitless life?

And that’s it, folks. That’s all you need to do… Remember that rejection isn’t going anywhere, you can’t be everything to everyone, and the only person stopping you is you. And then get out of your own damn way!

I really, really hope this resonated with you, and I hope you can see through the fog that little bit clearer now.

And please hit me up in the DMs if you have any questions on this. Also – I know this is an issue a lot of others struggle with, so why not share this post with someone you think would take value from it? I’d love to be of help to them.

As always, I am sending you my love.

Until next time,
