Looking for Inspiration?
Wow! When I saw this video, I just had to share it with you. Up until now Limitless You Worldwide has primarily about women harnessing their power and potential during pregnancy and birth. However, when the idea of Limitless You was conceived, it was with the aim of empowering everyone who has the desire, to step into their own limitless potential, young, old, male, female – no limits.
Originally the plan was to wait until the start of the New Year to introduce new themes to the blog, however, on viewing the inspirational strength and tenacity of Olivia Wise singing Katy Perry’s Roar this evening, I felt totally compelled to throw the plan out of the window and say this is what it is all about. Feeling and being inspired to take action. Taking small steps towards, doing the things in life that make your heart sing, things that you’ve been talking about for years, things that will make you happy. It doesn’t have to mean running for Prime Minister or quitting your job – although, if that’s what you desire, why the hell not? The point is, change does not have to be huge to be profound, so whether it’s gaining the confidence to go out and make new friends, start a course, lose the extra weight, whatever? Be inspired, by this beautiful young girl, who’s strength, spirit and gumption to live life to the fullest despite debilitating cancer inspire you as much as it has inspired me. Time to step into your limitless potential?
Olivia Wise has Brain Cancer. She came into a recording studio for her first time and recorded the Katy Perry song Roar. She couldn’t walk or stand, she didn’t have her full breath or the energy she used to, and she was managing her new pains and new limitations. While her physical condition was rapidly fading, her spirit remained untouched.
Olivia is a fighter and has gone through the fire, in fact, she was going through the fire while she recorded this song, but you wouldn’t know it, because she was dancing right through it. She is an inspiration, a champion, and my hero. This is her Roar.
