The key to success – consistency vs new

I’ve heard the saying ‘what got you here, won’t get you there’. And I’ve also heard other people saying, yes, what got you here will get you there because it’s a consistency thing.

 

Within the coaching industry, I think there is an epidemic when it comes to the shiny new thing and feeling like that is going to be the thing that’s going to make you successful.

 

But there are some buttons that need to be pressed again and again to make it easier for you to impact, and to increase your income in the way that you desire.

 

Here’s the two things that I can honestly credit my overall growth to…

 

1. I hired an OBM, an online business manager

 

This was a really important life changing decision and it was honestly a game changer for me. It meant that I had somebody who I trusted to make sure that things were happening, the details were being looked into, the team was being managed and it was also someone who sometimes got my arse into gear when it needed a kick.

 

 

2. I chose to launch consistently, doing the same launch.

 

Doing the same launch again and again enabled me to refine and optimize, and ultimately lighten the load for myself and the team, because we’re not starting from scratch all the time. And this was a revelation.

 

So my advice is, when you’re looking to scale, the trick is to optimize and refine what it is that you are doing. Don’t leave it to chance by starting something new every single time you feel the nudge. And once you’ve done the consistency piece, refinement and the optimization, then you get to introduce something new, get creative and play around with it.
